This house was built on tything lots 14 and 15 during the time Robert Habersham owned the property, probably between 1819 and 1820. The house is attributed to Jay on stylistic grounds. There is a very strong resemblance between its verandah and one on an unexecuted design signed by Jay. Sometime during the mid-19th century, a third story was added to the house. Habersham also acquired the Bulloch House.
